Finally we are back, with some little news. 2022 is the year that we want to think in “green” we are happy to introduce our latest service addition wich is the electric car charging column Electric vehicles are vary popular now, so one of the most important advantage is that they riduce the emission in favour of the environment.

Oasi Olimpia Relais is located in Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, a lovely village 10Km far from Sorrento town, so called because of his unique geographic location, which offers an extraordinary view on Naples and Salerno Gulf.

Sant’Agata is a small village where there are vaireties of Cafès, local shops, restaurants – from the most traditional to the Michelin Star,  Furthermore full of phats for an enjoyable walk, to reach unmissable places, as Punta Campanella or Ieranto Bay.  

Do not miss the chance to visit “Il Deserto”, Not far from Sant’Agata ; very admired location for the breath-taking panorama and his ancient cloister, full of history and legends.

Wedding in Sorrento at Oasi Olimpia Relais

Just yesterday , with great pleasure we received a lovely couple with their big family.

After a warm welcome and introduction, Guests went straight to refine and talk about all the details for their special day. So… we all “rolled up our sleeves” and start to get everything ready  for the breathtaking terrace, where the astonishing ceremony will be celebrated.

….A couple of hours later… Impatient Groom and Guests are waiting to see and … the wonderful Bride to come down the staircase… Music is playing her father appears on top of it and there she is…. Delicately going down the staircase ready to go through the “nave” and reach her life partner. One of the most moving moments…

After this enchanting cohesion, with joy laughs and happiness tears, framed by a unique landscape – the Gulf of Naples- everyone is ready to  make  a toast to Bride & Groom with excellent Champagne to go with savoury appetizer.

walking down we reach the magnificent Pergola where, between great music and toasts, the fine dinner is ready to be served.

But suddenly a surprise… All the Guests got ready games and Karaoke for Bride & Groom, really unexpected and fun situation!

The evening concludes with the slice of the Bridal Cake and photos, which will recall beautiful memories. 

Well… Another day full of joy and love brings to the end here at Oasi Olimpia Relais , where we put our heart into all the things for the purpose of satisfy Guests needs, make them happy; living unforgettable unique moments at the magical anciant dwelling.  

Discovery traditional pizza of Naples at Olimpia Cooking School

Non poteva esserci inizio migliore per questa stagione 2019, se non con un divertentissimo Pizza Class.

Ha avuto come protagonista una famiglia americana, con due simpatici bambini di 11 e 13 anni.

Hanno soggiornato per qualche giorno sulla splendida Costiera Amalfitana e con piacere hanno scelto di trascorrere una giornata presso la nostra struttura, situata nella magnifica Penisola Sorrentina.

 Dopo aver fatto le varie presentazioni e gustato una Limonata fresca, certamente fatta con i limoni del nostro giardino, possiamo metterci all’opera. Attentamente leggiamo la ricetta  ed è subito “mani in pasta.”

Durante la lezione, guidati dall’impeccabile Chef, abbiamo imparato piccoli ma essenziali segreti, per una morbida e gustosissima pasta di pizza.

Durante l’attesa della lievitazione della pasta, veniamo gentilmente accompagnati a visitare giardini circostanti, dove ogni anno vengono coltivati con amore e passione i protagonisti che andranno a deliziare il vostro palato.

Dopo questa passeggiata tra la natura, siamo pronti per tornare alla pizza ormai lievitata; quindi la stendiamo e possiamo condirla a nostro piacimento scegliendo tra una vasta varietà di ingredienti.

Tra una risata e l’altra riusciamo ad infornare le pizze nel nostro forno a legna, appena cotte a puntino subito pronti per gustarla… Dulcis in fundo il dessert.. la famosa e delicata Pizza con Nutella.

We are Ready

Dear friends and clients past and future…with excitement and enthusiasm we are getting ready for the reopening. The 7th April 2019 is the official reopening date for the new season at Hotel Oasi Olimpia – just in time for Easter. The last few months have been challenging in getting the hotel ready. Having been awarded a fifth star - a testament to the high quality of all the services we provide- we wanted to take the opportunity to freshen up some aspects of the hotel while still maintaining all that which represents our story and our history. We set about improving our elegant rooms and communal areas in subtle ways to improve comfort and add aesthetic touches. We have invested in technological improvements to offer improved internet speed and connections, added more USB ports and installed Smart TV’s in every room. We are also very proud of our Green credentials and have added to our Garden –a green oasis in the Sorrentine Peninsula-by planting more than 100 apple trees of a variety that has always been indigenous to the area but the numbers have been in decline “Mela Limoncella”. A rose garden has been added too which will add colour and romance. So we invite you to consider visiting us this year. We assure you of a stay that is synonymous with comfort and service and stroll around a village that is unique in its customs and boasts friendly bars and first class restaurants.

Cooking School

Today we are proud to announce the reopening of our Cooking School Olimpia and it is also the day we welcome our first intake of guests and students who are participating and will be with us for 6 days. This is something quite unique that we have offered for many years now and we do this in conjunction with our esteemed industry partners. The first evening will be a chance for all to meet at dinner and get to know each other and we are sure new friendships will be forged and fostered. So what can our guests further expect? Their stay will be dedicated to developing their knowledge and skills in Italian cooking infused with passion and fun. Tomorrow there will be a visit to a typical home where the owners will open their doors and welcome them into their kitchens to reveal the secrets of two of their main ingredients : olive oil and mozzarella. They will have the opportunity to make this cheese for themselves. More visits are arranged to include a visit to vineyards on the slopes of Vesuvius, a day on the Amalfi Coast and of course a visit to the Island of Capri. Three cooking classes take place during the week headed up by our chef and given in English. They will be fun and our students will learn how to make local favourites like Gnocchi Sorrentino or Eggplant Parmigiano.
