Sorrento cooking courses by Chef Carmen
Cooking programs of 4 and 6 nights
The Sorrento cooking courses are held in the school kitchen specially designed to make your holiday a perfect culinary delight.
The kitchen is equipped with an ample granite bench and with every kind of kitchen tool, including an accessory set which is assigned to each student at the start of each course.
All the dishes are made only with the freshest of ingredients and follow typical recipes that have been handed down for many generations.
The school is also equipped with an ample outside veranda for enjoyable breaks during the course.
The courses are specially designed to assist you to quickly and easily learn the secrets of the various dishes, including the secrets for preparing an authentic Napoletan pizza so that, once back home, you will be able to easily repeat the preparation of the dish and provide an amazing dinner that will astound your friends.
After the lesson, we celebrate together and eat the prepared dishes.
Day One
- Pickup from the Naples airport.
- Arrival at the charming hotel Relais Oasi Olimpia If you are not jet-lagged, you may wish to take a short walk into Sant’ Agata to do a little exploring.
- Time to rest before your welcome dinner at the elegant "Villa Oasi" restaurant.
Day Two
- A lovely buffet breakfast awaits you.
- In the morning you will head to a local farm, where they have been producing top quality olive oil for years, and where the matriarch has been making mozzarella cheese A tasting of this wonderfully fresh and light cheese follows, with olive oil and limoncello
- Return to the hotel for an afternoon of relaxation.
- This evening, your first cooking lesson, followed by dinner with wine.
Day Three
- Breakfast.
- Today’s visit to Pompeii ruins by train with an English speaking local guide.
- Light lunch in a very simple trattoria in Sorrento.
- This evening your second cooking class, followed by dinner with wine.
Day Four
- Breakfast.
- 9.00 excursion to visit the beautiful amalfi coast.
- Today's lunch will be on your own.
- After your Amalfi tour, return to Oasi for relaxing time until dinner in a charming exclusive restaurant .
Day Five
- Breakfast. For those on the four-night program, transfer back to Naples.
- For those on 6 night program, morning free, perhaps to explore Sant' Agata or Sorrento.
- Lunch on your own.
- 5.00 pm your third cooking lesson. Dinner based on your efforts.
Day Six
- Breakfast.
- Departure at 9.45 to visit to the enchanting isle of Capri, weathering permitting.
- Lunch on your own.
- Return at the hotel at around 16.00.
- 5.30 pm appointment in the kitchen to make our pizza dough in only 30 minutes.
- Relax time until 8.00 pm until your pizza dinner (pizza dough has to rise a couple of hours)
Day Seven
- Breakfast and departure from the hotel to the Naples airport or train station for those ending the six-night program

- Six nights accommodations double occupancy with ensuite bathroom
- Arrival transfer from Naples airport or train station (Napoli Centrale)
- Return transfer to Naples train station (Napoli Centrale) or airport
- Daily breakfast
- Six dinners
- Two lunches, including one tasting lunch after the cheese demonstration
- Local wine, water and coffee with all included meals (Please note that other beverages and drinks consumed outside of mealtime are not included)
- Three hands-on cooking lessons
