It is not real. It is a dream!
It was my 40th birthday gift: a cooking course at Oasi. We wen't on feb 2011. Me, my wife and our 23 month boy.
It is imposible to put in words our feelings and emotion about this trip. Hotel is nothing less than superb, food is perfect, location is breathtaking. But the real pleasure is to share some days with all staff of Oasi. They are lovely and perfect on everything they do.
It was not a trip or a cooking course. It was a whole experience of life. To understand that luxury is every simple detail. Just like italian food. This is one place you SHOULD visit before you die. Life is short, so go, just go! It is pure magic.
Thanks for everything, thanks for all care and love you shared with us.
Kisses,
Marco, Daniela e Miguel. From Brazil.
This was our second trip to Oasi Olimpia, the first time was fantastic and romantic. You cannot fault the service, food or wine. We therefore returned for what my partner thought was a short break but my intention was to ask her to marry me.
There could have been no perfect place, Carmen and her staff created the perfect setting, private dinner with 360 panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Solerno. This truely is a special place, so with a decorated table, wine, music, rose petals on the floor, fantastic service and food and of course the special ring my Tara was speechless.
This is a small hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento but still close enough for trips if need be. The town of Sant Agata has the only 3 Michelin star restuarant - but don't bother trying it, its well over priced and does not compare to the great Italian food produced by the Oasi in their restaurant.
Can't wait to get back there next year !
PS She said YES !!! and we plan to wed at the Oasi Olympia Relais in the future

I just spent 2 weeks at Oasi Olimpia traveling solo and simply had the most amazing time. Every one of the staff is gracious and makes you feel as if you're a guest in their home, perhaps because this property is a beautifully restored intimate villa.
Before I arrived, they helped me arrange a week of scuba diving at the marine reserve at Punta Campanella and really went the extra mile in providing most of the transportation during my stay.
The best part of the vacation was the week-long cooking class arranged through the International Kitchen. Carmen, the director and chef, is a charming and talented woman who made the classes incredibly fun and approachable. The seasonal food is fresh and delicious. She made it easy to bring out the best of the local produce picked right from the property and we made many gorgeous meals. I think they will be readily replicated in my own kitchen!
Several excursions were flawlessly arranged. I loved the tour of Fattoria Terranova, a local family owned organic farm where mozzarella is handmade and limoncello is produced. You get a true sense of how life is so closely tied to the earth! We had an outstanding dinner at Quattro Passi, a Michelin star restaurant. We spent a wonderful day touring the Amalfi coast and another day visiting Pompei with a local guide who was able to bring the city to life with his knowledge of both the history and the ruins.
The location is perfect if you're interested in a relaxing vacation off the beaten track yet accessible to the important local tourist attractions. The town is small yet charming with some notably good restaurants. Sant'Agata is situated atop the hill between the Sorrento and Salerno gulfs. During the heat of summer, it is also quite a bit cooler than the coastal towns.
I wish I was back right now and would absolutely recommend Oasi Olimpia to anyone traveling to the Sorrento peninsula.
Many thanks to Salvatore, Carmen, Marina, Linda, Luigi and Giovanni for making my stay so memorable and lovely.
Dear Carmen & Staff,
Just returned from staying two weeks in one of your Self Catering apartments (Stella 2 Bed), and I must say that all four of us very much enjoyed the apartment, which was well equipped and clean, with both bedrooms being en-suite and the quiet private garden associated with it was a pleasure, along with being able to use the main hotels facilities, including the very extensive grounds which had stunning views over the bay of Naples, we found all the staff to be very helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them.
If you are looking for a quiet location with the convenience of St Agata village nearby, which had all the facilities that you could require, bank, bakers, supermarkets, top restaurants etc; albeit a short 10 minute hilly walk away, which also had very good bus links to Sorrento, thus giving excellent access to all the popular Amalfi coast desnitations, then this is the very highly recommended place to stay.
Hi Carmen
I spent last week in Italy, and had a great time seeing the sights, but none could compare to the reception you provided at your Hotel on Thursday 29th April. The setting under the falling blossoms was absolute magic, and the food was wonderful. Everything about the evening was perfect, and was a dream that will stay with me forever.
I don't know how my son Neil found you, but you, your staff, and the Hotel were the final treasure in an amazing day.
I wish you all the very best for the rest of your season.
God Bless
